About
gknister, lo-fi producer from Vienna, Austria
gknister

gknister is a lo-fi producer based in Vienna, Austria, making warm, jazz-inspired instrumentals shaped by organic textures and modern production. Most of the music is performed by hand, blending live instruments, subtle field recordings and carefully built arrangements into immersive soundscapes.

The inspiration comes from cafés, quiet streets and ordinary moments. Each release holds a distinct atmosphere, somewhere between nostalgia, focus and calm. Made for slow mornings, late nights and everything in between.

The music has been featured on Spotify editorial playlists including Jazz Vibes, lofi beats and Chill Lofi Study Beats, reaching millions of streams worldwide. New music arrives every few weeks.

Everything is written, produced, mixed and mastered in the same room in Vienna. The same ears also work on other people's records under the studio name SansimoLab, and on cinematic guitar instrumentals as one half of the duo Sonsol.

Nothing here is generated. It is played, recorded and arranged by hand.
